Disney Memory Game

Disney Memory Game
There are many memory games that are gaining popularity, but do they really work? Research has shown that learning new things, doing puzzles and playing games helps the mind stay active. The most effective memory games allow you to improve your memory capacity and practice abstract thinking.

To keep an active mind you need to improve their memory skills for and the brain needs to be engaged in constant constructive activity. It will be all the more disturbing if you learn that the brain functions with less agility from the age of thirty and the other factor, which can affect your memory is aging. You can train your brain with these games that enhance your attention and improve memory.

They are essential for exercising one's ability to be attentive while playing and thus improve memory. These games are employed in the field of psychology as techniques to train and gauge memory skills. Memory match games helps in building concentration, visual memory and discrimination abilities.

Playing these games with friends is also beneficial. There is much anecdotal evidence that such memory games are helpful, as playing these games and puzzles stimulates the mind and keeps it active. These games have also been shown to boost the dendrites in your brain that are responsible for processing information. Dr. Michael Valenzuela, a clinical neuroscience research fellow at the University of New South Wales' School of Psychiatry, says games like wordplay are effective in preventing Alzheimer's disease.

Disney Memory Game

For fans of Disney’s incredibly popular Princess characters, remembering the various glamorous cartoon queens is not much of a problem. That familiarity will come in handy in this version of the ever-popular memory card game. There are 72 cards in all depicting such princess favorites as Snow White, Ariel, Cinderella, Jasmine, Pocahontas, Sleeping Beauty and Belle. There’s a holding case but no game board is included or necessary. One to two players can play the game and it’s a great way for young children to test their minds and just to learn how games are played. It’s also a way for adults to ponder just how formulaic Disney’s moviemaking really is. The directions suggest one card be removed prior to competitive play in order to avoid a tie game. --Charlie Williams

Here are some of the comments from the customers:

“I agree with the other reviewer, there are WAY too many cards in this game, 72 cards to be exact! That is crazy for the recommended age, 3 years and up. Instead of putting our game back on the shelf for a few years, I simply let my 4 year old daughter pick out 12 pairs of cards of her choice, and then play with that small amount (which is how I remember the original Memory game being, with about that amount of cards). She enjoys picking her favorite pairs for the game, and has really enjoyed learning to remember the hidden cards. We played four or five rounds yesterday, and she gets better at it each time. This is such an important game to have in your house, it really gets your brain rolling. Lots of fun too!”

“What a great game! My 4 year old loves the disney princess. It is such a great educational toy. We love it.”
